INN: The historic
Stage Coach Inn is your home for gracious living on Nova Scotia's South Shore. Built in 1803, the Inn has been lovingly and completely renovated to its present pristine condition.
We are open year-round and relaxing and beautiful accommodations for anyone traveling to or though Barrington, Yarmouth, Lunenburg,
Shelburne or anywhere along Nova Scotia's famed South Shore.
OUR
ROOMS: Our guests chose from four standard rooms and one suite and enjoy a free, full continental breakfast to start their day.
All rooms have private bath. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen at any time to prepare meals to their liking.
PRIVACY:
The Inn hosts Liliana and Allan live nearby, providing
the ideal combination of privacy and convenience.
THE
AREA: The area boasts a history rivaled by none, having been settled by Planters and Loyalists in the late 18th century. Our museums, beaches, rivers and lakes offer hours of enjoyment for the entire family.
The nearby walking trails area great attraction.
On Cape Sable Island,
you'll enjoy a walk on "The Hawk", one of
Canada's most impressive beaches, visit the Important
Bird Area and sanctuary and see the famous "Cape
Island" fishing boats. Sand Hills Beach Park is a
treasure. Seasonal fairs and festivals abound.
SHELBURNE:
The nearby town of Historic Shelburne
has five museums, a wide variety of restaurants, daily harbour tours and more. It is the home to the largest historical reenactment group in eastern
Canada and you can rent kayaks on the harbour and even
walk out to the Sandy Point Lighthouse at low tide.
DAY
TRIPS: At The Inn, you are perfectly
located for day trips to some of Nova Scotia's most
scenic towns and villages and her many natural
wonders. These include Yarmouth, Digby, Bear River,
